In accordance with the excessive packaging restriction regulations, this project set up documents and procedures for packaging testing and training materials. Our company also completed personnel training and updated packaging test procedures when necessary. Our company set up three test centers, and submitted 6 quarterly work reports, 2 midterm reports, and 1 final report to the Environmental Protection Administration. Up to 2010, we received totally 1,046 samples, including 341 pastry gift boxes, 51 cosmetics gift boxes, 326 alcoholic beverage gift boxes, 261 processed food gift boxes, 46 computer software optical disks, and 21 non-gift-packaged-products. According to the statistical data, there were two peaks of test loads. One is from June to August and the other is before Chinese New Year. This can be explained by the enforcement date of the excessive packaging restriction policy and the sales of gift boxes for the Chinese New Year and the Mid-Autumn Festival. Our company totally carried out 32 internal audits, 10 on-job trainings and tests for the 15 project members. The Environmental Protection Administration also carried out 6 project audits. Finally, we performed the survey of the test customer satisfaction and a high level of the results showed satisfaction.
